MC: View Reflection.

[Comments Closed]

In effort to see himself through the strange bleariness, a teenage boy rubs at his eyes, blinking repeatedly as he does so.

It was a rough night yesterday, that was for sure. Bruises have begun to pronounce themselves against his pale skin, giving him a blotchy appearance of white, brown and purple. Physical inspection of the marks elicited sharp hisses of pain. "Damn..." He muttered sorely, running a hand through his disheveled black hair. The motion made his shoulders ache, but he paid them no attention; knowing it would hurt more if he concentrated on them. Mornings were always ugly, he thought, glowering fiercely with sharp green eyes at the sunlight that leaked through the curtains at his bedroom window. His wiry figure trembled visibly on exhausted legs as he resumed splashing himself with water, slim fingers dragging over skin as he stared at his own image.

Small, oozing welts had seemed to sport themselves on the backs of his hands. A couple of burns sizzled pleasantly on his left collarbone, hot to the touch. Being shirtless, it was hard not to stare at a gash that had been cut into his side; and it seemed that blood had dried in strange smears. As his eyes drooped too far for the mirror to see, he tilted his head down to examine his legs. Great. His jeans were decorated with various rips in patterns that could only be created by claws, meaning that this was another pair of comfortable clothing he needed to throw away. The guy couldn't do anything to preserve his fashion these days, it seemed.

What had happened last night?

Hello everyone!! Welcome to Week 2.

I was so excited receiving so many emails with comments... Thank you all so much for contributing!!

As you can see, I didn't use just any one idea for the first continuation. That was too hard >.< So many people were giving awesome directions that I just decided to do something along the lines of combining a bunch of things and giving credit to the people who's ideas I used in part. In some of the cases I credited; I didn't even actually use their idea... I just alluded to it. Thank you to you guys, too! :)

For those of you who did not have your ideas used, don't worry!! This week, I'm more open to crazy suggestions ;)

  1. Last night, you were attacked by a giant snake-cat, of course.

  2. Main Character: Run!

Oh god. Now he knew. He knew all too well. He knew that they were everywhere. They were everyone. They had come for him. He had to get out of the house. He ran. The only thing that mattered in the world was to run.

Now you remember. You went to an Insane Clown Posse concert, and got their song Miracles stuck in your head. God those clowns were creepy. So very creepy.

  4. MC: Remember.

Last night, you had been called off... again. You had so hoped to get some sleep - the first in weeks! - but you had only enough time to change into your pajamas before you got the call. And after that - only enough time to put on some decent clothes and run off into the night. When you returned, you had just enough energy to yank off your shirt before falling into bed. You couldn't even bother addressing your wounds.

What were you even fighting? You can't remember. All that matters is that there was a fight, and that that thing is now dead, and you are alive. No point in worrying about anything else.
